When it comes to guitar many people use a pick, but is a pick right for your style of play? Personally, I do not use a pick but many people that I know who also play guitar do use picks. Choosing to use a pick or not really depends on your style of play. If you prefer to play chords, then you should definitely use a pick. Especially if you are a beginner as it can hurt your fingers in the way you have learnt to strum. However, if you play finger-style or tab, it really depends on how well you can use a pick quickly.

On guitar there are multiple ways you can play the G chord but today we are going to play the four finger version.

Yesterday, I posted how to play the Adventure of a Lifetime riff and you can access that here  but now I will show you how to play the verse. Remember to put the capo on 12th if you are playing with the riff. Also, the chords are; Dm, G, A, A. though you can play an E halfway through the 4th bar.

So recently, I have been playing the song Adventure of a Lifetime by Coldplay on guitar. I was going to do a performance live but it has been cancelled due to the virus so I thought I would teach you how to play it. Firstly, put the capo on 12th and listen to the song. As the song is fast you will need to listen to it.

Recently, I have been listening to a song called Orphans by Coldplay so I thought that I shall show you how to play it. The chords are: E, Esus4, A and C#.  The Capo must be on the 4th fret unless you want to barre across it. The strumming pattern is: \ = down. / = up. \\//\ \\//\ \\//\ \\//\.
